The Confederation of Passenger Transport (CPT) is the UK trade association for the bus, coach and light rail industries. CPT represents the owners and operators of the principal light rail and tramway systems in the UK and the promoters of several new systems . Our members include the operators of the Tyne and Wear Metro, Docklands Light Railway and all the modern tramways, as well as the Blackpool tramway and several heritage lines.
